Mr Mapeo joined Bomaid in 2023 and is mandated to provide strategic and technical guidance and support to the Group on matters of information and communication technology with the aim of achieving cost effective and competitive management of information and business objectives.
He provides policy advice and direction for the design, development and operation of the information technology and communication systems and processes, which will optimise the utilisation of information technology at an operational level and facilitate the efficient delivery of services.
He is also responsible for planning, organising, co-ordinating and controlling the development and implementation of information technology strategies, digitisation and projects, to facilitate the achievement of the Fund’s business model.
With a strong focus on digitization for greater efficiencies, Mr Mapeo provides leadership for driving innovation and supporting the business through business processing solutions, data science strategies, protecting the organisation and partners against increased cyber risks for the achievement of the Group strategy.
